Samsaric Brewing Company Collaborates with Two Austin Staples

Samsaric Brewing out of Bensalem Township, Pennsylvania will release their passion fruit witbier this Friday, June 9th. Previously released last year, the beer will make its Texas debut at Austin’s Mort Subite Belgian beer bar and Celis Brewery in honor of Kama Sutra Day. Yes, that Kama Sutra. The Pennsylvania brewery looks to change misconceptions of the ancient Sanskrit text by showing that the day itself was “a day to live in love and passion, as well as to live on purpose.” said owner Bobby Chacko.

“Samsaric Brewing is intending to reframe and educate on the original intent of Kamasutra from 300 BCE, a chance to reignite the idea of living with Love and Passion,” said Chacko. “Asking the question, what are you passionate about? What gets you excited to get moving and reach for the impossible goals in life? The truly amazing moments that provide the excitement of living life to the fullest. The few and fleeting Samsaric moments of life!”

The beer will not only be served at Mort Subite and Celis but it was also brewed in collaboration with both iconic Texas institutions. Samsaric Brewing is currently awaiting approval from the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission (TABC) to begin production of their beers in Texas.

Samsaric’s passion fruit witbier will be on tap at noon on June 9th at Celis Brewery, located at 10001 Metric Blvd, and then at 4 pm at Mort Subite, located at 308 Congress Ave.
